Which type of class do you want to sign up for?

Puppy Preschool

Puppy preschool classes are designed for puppies to participate in until they are 15 weeks old. Four to five classes is ideal for most puppies. Once your healthy puppy has one set of vaccines and been in your home for at least 10 days they can begin. For example, if you got an 8 week old puppy on January 1st, and had their vaccines on the 2nd of January they could join classes on the next class after January 10th and they could be enrolled in 5 classes depending on your availability. As a second example, if you got a puppy on January 1st who was 12 weeks old, vaccinated on the 2nd, they could also join on the next class after January 10th and be enrolled in 2 classes. When your puppy reaches 15 weeks of age they will be informally evaluated by our instructor and you will be advised if they are ready to move on to our Primary School for Pooches course to start their formal obedience training or if they would benefit from a few more classes.

Primary School for Pooches

Our basic training course is for dogs of any age. To ensure you have lots of private attention, classes are limited in size. For the Summer of 2012, we will be using a "punch-card" system to allow flexibility to work around your vacation plans and for you to get started in short order. The course is intended for people and dog-friendly dogs who adapt well to new situations. If this doesn't describe your dog, please contact us in advance of registering at info@unleashedpaws.ca to discuss how best to approach training with your specific dog.

Graduate Courses

All graduate courses are held on demand. Interested? Each course consists of seven one-hour sessions with a small group of dogs (4-6). The cost is $160. Reserve your spot now by contacting us at info@unleashedpaws.ca to place a down payment on the course ($80). Once four people have reserved a place for their dogs, a class start date will be set. Classes are always held on Sundays.
